Eichler Madness

My brother turned 40 yesterday.  Today, he decided to run his age in miles and I joined him for 13.5 of those miles.  There was no way I was running MY age in miles!.

The running route was mostly on some neat trails in Castro Valley.  One of the legs went along a ridge that opened up to a beautiful view of San Francisco and the bay.  My brother took pictures and I’ll try to upload some when they’re available.

It was quite a punishing course, and my feet were sore after only 2 (5.8mi) laps.  I ran with Baldwyn on his 3rd and 4th lap.  The climbs were so steep in places that I could only manage to walk up them.  It was a beautiful day and a great time was had by all!
